Here are the slides from my PowerPoint Presentation for the Off Shopre Passage-making Seminar. This  all-day presentation was given at the Seamen’s Institute in Newport, RI as part of the NARC Rally’s  11th voyage to the Caribbean. Sixteen Boats joined the Rally this year, I was the Communications Officer on the 2009 Rally--Newport to Bermuda to the Caribbean. This all-day seminar is an excellent introduction to Off Shore Passage-making for sailors and boat owners who are looking forward to bring their boat, or crewing on someone else’s boat making the leap off shore to the islands of the world.
